Home stretch baby...
We're almost there! A little over 37 weeks, the countdown is totally on! Matt and I are so excited, any day she could come, as long as she waits until Friday. Matthew has his pa dental licensing exam on Thursday and Friday, so we're crossing our fingers that she waits until after then. That's all there is to report, besides aches and pains and major heat flashes, life is goooood. Peace and love <3

Ok, so I suck at this...
Wow, so I haven't posted an entry in over a month, yikes! Been super busy to say the least...we're now in the 35th week! YAY! Which means, weekly dr's appts (I just love getting felt up, lol) and last minute planning, cleaning, washing...you name it. Every day I'm more and more excited to meet this precious little life I've been carrying inside of me. Last night I went to dinner with my lovely friends, Eileen and Steph, and Steph's little girl Angela is now 5 months old, which made my super jealous and want to be able to hold my little gal in my arms...but she will come, sooner than later, so I'll have to be patient. Anyway, Angela is beautiful, active, smiley, a perfect little creature...another girl I went to school with Jennie, just had her lovely little girl, april fool's baby, Ava, and she is a beauty as well. All these babies, can't wait to schedule play dates!
So, Matt still hasn't heard from the PA dental licensing board (or the official name NERB, lol) about his test in May. So apparently we didn't make it, and he's going to have to continue working in NY until August when he can take his licensing exam. Boo...but we'll get by. Every minute he is away from me makes me realize how completely in love with him I am, which is amazing seeing as a year ago he was just another guy I avoided at the bar. Funny how life works... I can't imagine my life without him, and yet, I almost just let him slip away. God works in mysterious ways, I'm more convinced of this everyday.
Anything else new? Hmm...well my mom turned 51! We had a little family shindig for her, as we always do for family bdays...my brother brought his g/f (GASP!) Melissa, who is absolutely adorable and smart and funny, let's hope she sticks around for awhile, she's too cool. Hmm, Matt's pop-pop is in the hospital, but it seems as though he's getting better, just had some complications with a cold. Matthew and I are still hoping we can buy a house sometime in the near future...searching for our American dream I suppose...it'll happen. Patience. We finished our birthing classes 2 weeks ago, that's news, and our baby is "ready for take-off" as our doc said last week. Oh, and we get to go to our first regular season Phils game of the season this weekend! Vs. the cubbies...I can't wait. We got to see the phils take on the blue jays a few weekends ago, I drove Matthew and our friend Dave down, it was a blast, but standing on my feet for hours, not so much a good idea. Oh well, it was worth it. And in the fantasy baseball world (yes I'm a huge dork) it's Keller vs. Keller this week, may the best Keller win... :o) Man, I love my life. Hope all is well with anyone reading this. Peace and love <3

28 weeks 5 days strong...
So, we're getting closer and closer...can't wait til the big day! My mom and best friends Cheryl and Eileen threw me a baby shower a week and a half ago, go so much amazing stuff and had a great time. Thanks again to everyone that made it! Starting to get down to the wire, have so much yet to do. Been making to do lists like crazy. Finally registered for a breastfeeding class and finished painting our little one's nursery. It's wonderful to get that done. We still have to build the crib and changing table, organize the nursery, buy tons more stuff, pack my hospital bag...and the list goes on. Oh well, all worth it like I said before.
Also, hopefully soon I will have my fill of research and I will finally decide on natural/medicated birth. Really hoping to be strong enough to go natural. Pray for me! My Aunt Abby and friend I met online, Katie, have been giving me amazing advice about natural birth...both have been so supportive, it's wonderful. Thanks!
Ok so this week I've been thinking about all the joys of pregnancy besides the obvious one of having a little bean!
1) Food, I totally can enjoy food without feeling overly guilty.
2) My relationship with my husband has blossomed into something completely wonderful.
3) No Hangovers!!!
4) No time of the month, hahaha.
5) Virtually everyone is super nice to you. It's great!
6) It changed my relationship with my parents, in a positive way, also with my Aunt, she gives the best advice
7) I can go to bed at 8pm and not feel like an old person :o)
There's probably a ton of stuff that I forgot, but it is truly a wonderful time. (aside from the aches and pains and sickness) It really is wonderful. Oh I almost forgot, we had our 28 week check up on Friday, everything is great, and little bean is growing nice and strong. Alright, peace and love to all <3

ooops...
So I've been a little bit neglectful of writing in this blog! So, we're up to 26 weeks 4 days now, getting closer and closer. Mattie and I both feel as though it's flying by, can't believe we get to meet our little princess in 3 months! Can't wait! It's been so busy lately, time is just flying by.
Next week will be busy as well, Thursday, I have my glucola (gestational diabetes) test, hip hip hooray. (yea right.) Then on Friday I have another appointment to see how I'm measuring and such. Matt will be in NY for both of these so unfortunately he'll have to miss the appt. But seeing as we don't get an u/s, it's probably not a big deal.
Hitting the tired phase of pregnancy again. Ironic that I'm more tired than I've ever been in my entire life and I can't have a gosh darn cup of coffee. I'll tell ya...

Welcome to the world baby Cole!
It seems as though everyone is having a baby lately! Lena's friend's baby arrived into the world 5 weeks early, Sue's daughter's friend welcomed a son right on schedule, and Mitch and Tara welcomed little Cole Maddox, 6 lbs. 14 oz. and 3 weeks early. Poor Tara has been on bedrest since November, so I'm sure she and baby were both ready.
Just makes Mattie and I more excited to have our little one. Not to mention it's starting to make me look forward to the things I can't wait to do post-pregnancy:
1) drink coffee/red bull/ pretty much anything with caffeine again!
2) run
3)wear pants that zip!
4) sleep on my stomach
5) play with our adorable daughter!!!
15 more weeks to wait, but totally worth it. <3
